Facilities

The St Luke’s Church Hall has a large main hall room with small kitchen to the side, as well as a meeting room.  These rooms are open to hire for meetings, social gatherings, events, wedding receptions and church gatherings. There are toilets.  The whole hall is wheelchair accessible except for the storage area.

TABLE OF CURRENT FEES JANUARY TO DECEMBER 2018 – FOR ONE OFF EVENTS

Please note ee only charge by the Hour Mondays to Fridays

SATURDAYS

£65 an hour, when reaches £600 then you can have for more hours at no extra cost PLUS: £200 security deposit returned if hall is returned in same state as found

Saturday rental for up to 150 people is £600 (max fee)
Fee for use of garden £50 (Optional Extra)
Immediate deposit of £50
Further deposit of £150 ASAP

Fee to be paid 1 week before event of £600

MON TO FRIDAY

£36 an hour for the Hall 

Charged at £36 an hour with Security Deposit of £200 needed
Fee for use of garden £50 (Optional Extra)
Immediate security deposit of £50
Further security deposit of £150 ASAP

Notes for all Hiring 

Note: Security Deposit is returned subject to Hall being returned as found and with no:

  1. Breakages to be replaced at full cost
  2. Excessive cleaning of floors and walls to be charged at £40 an hour

1. An initial security deposit to reserve the hall for an event required a £50 cheque, BACS or postal order.

2. Full security deposit of a further £150 (takes deposit to £200) is required 4 weeks before the event. If not paid the initial deposit will be lost and the day freed up for other bookings.

3. Full Fee needs to be paid in full 2 weeks in advance of the event.  If not paid, then any deposit will be lost and the booked time made available for other bookings.

FOR ONE OFF EVENTS

OUR OFFICE IS ONLY STAFFED ON WEDNESDAYS 10.30am-3pm

FOR MORE THAN A ONE EVENT OR REGULAR EVENTS IN THE YEAR

There is a possibility of using the hall on a regular basis, or less regularly basis, particularly if it to support activities related to the local community, health and social provision, education or community development. This will require a contract and some exploration of your organisation.  To set up a contract for hiring you will need:
– photocopy of your current insurance and public indemnity insurance
– evidence of being a business or charity registered with the charities commission
– evidence of some form of safeguarding policy
