Mothers’ Union

St Luke’s has an active Mothers’ Union Group that meets after the main Sunday morning service. The aim and purpose is to demonstrate the Christian faith in action by the transformation of communities worldwide through the nurture of the family in its many forms.

Our aims include:

  • Promoting and supporting married and family life

  • Encouraging parents in their role to develop the faith of their children

  • Contacting those who have not been attending church for a while.

  • Maintaining the worldwide fellowship of Christians united in prayer, worship and service

  • Promoting conditions in society favourable to stable family life and the protection of children.

  • Helping those whose family life has met with adversity and bereavement

  • The St Luke’s Mothers’ Union also helps raise awareness and finances to help the unfolding vision of the Church by fundraising.
