Saint Francis’ Prayer of peace
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.

NEWS
In 2024 we celebrated the 70th anniversary of the church building. The original church, having been destroyed in the Second World War, was replaced with the current basilica-style one, which was consecrated in 1954.
Some of our past services and sermons during lockdowns are available to watch and listen to here. But much better - come and meet us on a Sunday at 10am! Check out our Events page, or just get in touch, we’d love to get to know you!
